Kent man arrested in connection with Renton shooting
A 22-year-old Kent man wanted for a shooting in Renton was arrested today after SWAT officers moved in to serve a search warrant at a home where he was hiding.
U.S. Marshals were tipped off that the man, wanted for allegedly shooting at a group of people in the Renton Highlands, was at a nearby home.
Since the man did not respond to officers’ attempts to speak with him, police obtained a search warrant for the house. The man surrendered as SWAT moved in.
He was arrested on suspicion of felony assault and unlawful firearm possession.
