Special Commitment Center resident sentenced to 10 years for possessing child porn
A federal judge today sentenced a 70-year-old resident of the state’s Special Commitment Center for sexually violent offenders to 10 years in prison for possessing child pornography.
Keith Jonathon Rogers in December pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography.
He was arrested in 2009 as part of a federal investigation of contraband smuggling at the facility.
Investigators said they found more than 350 images of child pornography on a computer in Roger’s room. The images mostly showed young girls being raped by men, according to a news release issued by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Seattle.
