Ann Marie Burr case remains a mystery despite DNA tests

Back in July, Lights & Sirens mainstay Stacey Mulick wrote a fascinating piece about serial killer Ted Bundy’s possible ties to the disappearance of an 8-year-old Tacoma girl 50 years ago.

Turns out police still can’t say if Bundy was involved or not, despite the recent analysis of DNA evidence in the case.

5-year-old homicide remains unsolved; public’s help sought

Five years ago Sunday the body of Nicole Pietz was found in a wooded area in Burien.

The King County Sheriff’s Office  said she was the victim of a homicide and the case remains unsolved.

The Sheriff and Pietz’s are remembering the case in hopes someone may have information about the murder

Nicole was last seen by her husband in their Lynwood condominium  Jan. 28,  2006.  Her car was found in the University District of Seattle about two weeks later.
