Six years ago today, Adre’anna Jackson walked out of her Tillicum apartment and headed for her fourth-grade class.
The 10-year-old didn’t know Tillicum Elementary School was closed because of the overnight snowfall. She never made it to the school.
And she was never seen alive after the morning of Dec. 2, 2005.
Adre’anna’s remains were discovered April 4, 2006, in a blackberry-choked, vacant lot less than two miles from her home.
The circumstances surrounding her death remain a mystery. (The News Tribune ran a story on the case and investigation in April. You can find it here. )
