Three people were injured this morning in a three-vehicle crash between Bonney Lake and Buckley that shut state Route 410 down for more than an hour, according to East Pierce Fire & Rescue.

One of the drivers slowed down to turn left onto 262nd Avenue East and was struck from a vehicle behind, which pushed it into the path of an eastbound vehicle in the 26300 block of SR 410.

Firefighters had to extricate one of the drivers.

The accident happened about 8 a.m., shutting down both directions of SR 410. Lanes reopened shortly before 10 a.m.

None of the injuries were life-threatening, Battalion Chief Rick Goetz said.
