Two people were taken to the hospital Saturday following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of South 15th Street and South State Street in Tacoma.

Tacoma Fire Department Battalion Chief David McRoberts said the driver of one of the cars was injured after being ejected from the vehicle. And a man mowing his lawn near the intersection was also injured, although he wasn’t sure what struck him, McRoberts said.

The driver of the second car was uninjured, he added.

The accident was reported at 11:41 a.m. Saturday. McRoberts said Tacoma police were investigating.
