A fire destroyed a garage in Tacoma Thursday.

Tacoma firefighters were fighting the fire in the 3900 block of North 13th Street, said Battalion Chief Jolene Davis. The fire did not spread to the house.

No one was injured; the homeowner was not at home, Davis said. Firefighters don’t know the cause of the blaze.
