A 19-year-old man suspected in a June 12 drive-by shooting in Spokane surrendered to authorities Friday. He’s now in custody at the Pierce County Jail.

Issiah Schauman had been on the run for two weeks. The shooting killed Spokane resident Fabian McBride, 27, who was shot four times. He had five children. According to one report, McBride had been trying to recover a friend’s stolen property, and Schaumann was the suspected thief. The Spokane Spokesman-Review filed an account of the shooting on June 13. Here’s a shot of Schaumann, published in the Spokesman.
