Police are asking the public to help identify a man who robbed a Tacoma bank Monday morning.
The surveillance picture above shows the man police say robbed a bank about 10:45 a.m. in the 800 block of South 38th Street in Tacoma.
The suspect walked into the bank, showed the teller a note that demanded money and said he was armed with a gun, and ran out of the bank with the cash, according to police.
The robber is described as a black man in his 20s, between 5 foot 6 inches and 5 foot 8, with a thin build and short black hair.
He was wearing dark blue jeans, a black North Face jacket, a black Chicago Bulls hat and black gloves.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers at 253-591-5959.
Tips are anonymous and can result in up to a $1,000 reward.
