Bicyclist killed near Woodinville after colliding with oncoming vehicle

A bicyclist, believed to be in his 60s, died at the scene after being struck by an oncoming vehicle near Woodinville, according to The Seattle Times.

The incident occurred slightly before 11 a.m. on Saturday in the 6500 block of 240th Street Southeast, in unincorporated Snohomish County near Woodinville.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office told The Times the man’s hometown is believed to be Kent.

Speed or alcohol are not considered to be factors, according to the report, and it is not anticipated that the driver will be charged.
