Firefighters responded about 3:30 p.m. to the 6400 block of 4th Street Court Northeast for a house fire that displaced five people this afternoon, according to Tacoma Fire.

The cause of the blaze is still being determined.

No one was injured, and the occupants of the house weren’t home at the time of the fire.

A young German shepherd the owner said had been left in the back yard is still missing.

Further details were not immediately available.
