A Federal Way man, 31, was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center after a one-vehicle rollover crash in Mason County Sunday afternoon.

The 26-year-old Burien man driving the Mitsubishi van that crashed was also flown to the hospital, the State Patrol said.

Their conditions were not immediately available Sunday.

According to the State Patrol, they were heading south on U.S. Highway 101 13 miles north of Hoodsport about 1 p.m., when the vehicle drifted into the ditch and rolled onto the driver’s side, breaking the windshield.

Both occupants fell out of the van.

What caused the crash is still being investigated.

Further details were not immediately available.
