3 Tacoma businesses robbed at gunpoint

Three Tacoma businesses were robbed at gunpoint Friday night, all with similar methods.

Tacoma Police reported early Saturday morning that armed robberies occurred in the 1000 block of 38th Street, in the 3100 block of Sixth Avenue and in the 2400 block of North Proctor Street.

In each of the cases, police said a suspect walked into the business, displayed a handgun and demanded money. In each case, a clerk handed over cash and the suspect fled on foot.

Responding officers were unable to locate suspects in any of the crimes.
