Gig Harbor police issue 139 tickets in May for cell phone violations

Gig Harbor police said they ticketed 139 drivers in May for using their cell phones while driving.

Police Chief Mike Davis said he is pleased with the emphasis his force is placing on cell phone violations, especially with the single officer who issued 101 cell phone citations.
