Kent police are searching for a man who exposed himself to a 6-year-old girl at a business Sunday.

The incident occurred about 1:30 p.m. at the Dollar Tree, 23406 Pacific Highway South.

Officers searched the area for the suspect but did not locate him. Surveillance cameras captured the man, who is described as white, 18 to 25 years old, 5-feet-7 to 5-feet-11 with dark hair and a medium build.

“We want to ensure the public is aware of this incident and that this case is a top priority for our investigators,” Det. Melanie Frazier said. “Perpetrators like this do not belong in our community.”

Anyone with information is asked to call the Kent Police Department’s tip line at 253-856-5808.
