Lakewood police are looking for a man who critically injured another man Wednesday night in a Lakewood poolroom.

Police say the assault occurred at about 11:25 p.m at the Last Call bar in the 7300 block of Lakewood Drive.

According to Lakewood Police, the victim was playing pool and bumped into the suspect, who was also playing pool nearby. The suspect then punched the victim, causing him to strike his head on the floor when he fell.

The victim immediately lost consciousness, according to police, and has life-threatening injuries. The 47- year-old male victim is listed in critical condition.

The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of the police. He is described as a Native American male in his 30s, 5’10″, 220 pounds, heavy build, with long black hair worn in two braids. The suspect was wearing a long-sleeved white T-shirt and khaki pants at the time of the assault.

Lakewood Police are reviewing the video from the business and are not releasing any images from it at this time. The assault was captured on the bar’s surveillance system.

Lakewood police are asking anyone with information on this crime or who was present at the assault to contact LPD Detectives.
