A fugitive wanted for homicide, armed robbery and burglary in South Carolina was arrested Tuesday in Tacoma.

Authorities in South Carolina alerted Pierce County sheriff’s deputies that the man may be hiding in the area. About 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, deputies spotted the man in a car at the intersection of East 72nd and Portland Avenue.

Deputies, assisted by Tacoma police, stopped the vehicle and arrested the man at gunpoint.
