A garage fire in Tacoma Sunday night caused $23,000 in estimated damages, according to the Fire Department.

Firefighters responded to the home in the 200 block of North Yakima Avenue about 9:40 p.m. and found flames coming from the two-car garage.

They were able to contain the blaze to the detached garage. No one was injured.

Investigators said the fire was caused by a faulty light switch.
