A woman is okay after she emergency landed the small plane she was piloting about two hours ago in a Roy field when she realized it was having engine trouble, Pierce County Sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer said.

No one else was in the plane, which landed at Wilcox Farms in the 40000 block of Harts Lake Valley Road, Troyer said.
