Woman taken to hospital after caller reported jump from Yakima Street bridge

A woman was taken to the hospital tonight after a caller reported just before 7 p.m. that she had jumped onto northbound Interstate 5 near northbound Interstate 705, according to Tacoma Fire.
The woman appeared to have jumped from the Yakima Street Bridge onto the shoulder of I-5, according to Tacoma Fire, and she was not hit by any cars.
The woman’s condition is not immediately available.
