Tacoma police are investigating a shooting that injured a man Sunday afternoon during an apparent drug deal that soured.

The victim was shot in the back about 3:30 p.m. in the 3200 block of East E Street. He told officers he didn’t know the shooter’s name.

Police said a disagreement erupted between the two men over the sale of prescription drugs. No one has been arrested.
