A 19-year-old man suspected of sending threats of a “blood bath” at Kentwood High School in Covington last month was arrested over the weekend, according to the King County Sheriff’s Department.
Prosecutors have not yet charged the man, who is said to be a former student.
Detectives searched the man’s Kennewick home Saturday afternoon and seized two computers. It’s unknown what evidence was recovered linking the man to the threats.
After the school received the threat warning of a bomb and “hostage takeover” March 29, they evacuated the students and sent them home early. Nobody was injured and no evidence of an explosive was discovered when deputies searched the campus.
