Police are asking for the public to help find a vulnerable woman missing from the Benson Heights Rehabilitation Center since Sunday afternoon, Kent Detective Melanie Frazier said today.

Pamela J. Mitchell, 58, signed herself out of the facility at 22410 Benson Rd. SE to go to the grocery store and never came back, police said.

She has a history of leaving the center for periods of time, Frazier said, and has no friends or family in the area.

A social worker at the facility told police that Mitchell needs medication and has mental and physical disabilities.

Mitchell is described as 5 foot 9, 170 pounds, with light brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last scene wearing a dress and sandals.

Anyone who sees Mitchell is asked to call 911 immediately.
