The public is invited to a brief spiritual ceremony this morning to remember a Puyallup man and woman allegedly shot to death by their father while they slept.

Local clergy will host the Moment of Blessing at 10 a.m. outside the family’s home at 1509 5th Street Southeast in Puyallup.

Authorities say Danielle Faucett, 43, and Dennis League, 46, were shot in their sleep March 26. Their father has been charged in their deaths.

The Associated Ministries sponsors the Moment of Blessing ceremonies at locations in Pierce County where homicides have occurred. The ceremonies are intended to provide support for the victims’ families, friends and the community where the crime took place.
