Pierce County sheriff’s deputies are searching for a man suspected of robbing three convenience stores March 16.

The holdups all took place between 1:25 a.m. and 3:15 a.m. The first robbery was at SS Quick Shop in Parkland. The armed man approached the counter several times before walking out of the store. He then returned, pulled out a gun and demanded cash from the clerk. He fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

The man is also believed to have held up two 7-Eleven stores in Spanaway and Graham.

He is described as black, in his 20s, about 5-feet-8 with a slender build. He was wearing saggy blue jeans, a black and gray baseball cap and a black and gray letterman style jacket with a red hood.

Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and charging of the robber. Tipsters can call 253-591-5959.
