A 6-year-old Lakewood boy and two adults were injured late Sunday in a suspected drunken driving accident on Interstate 5 in Kent, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Troopers said a 26-year-old man was driving north on I-5 just before 11 p.m. when he lost control of his 1999 Chrysler, hit the freeway barrier and rolled the vehicle. It landed on its top.

The driver, the 6-year-old boy and a 28-year-old woman in the passenger seat were all taken to area hospitals with injuries. The boy was wearing a seat belt, troopers said.

WSP is investigating.
