A fire that destroyed a mobile home at the Auburn Railroad Yard Monday morning was arson, according to Valley Regional Fire Authority.

Damages are estimated at $75,000.

Firefighters responded to the yard in the 500 block of A Street Southeast about 2:25 a.m. Monday and found the building fully engulfed in flames. They were able to keep the blaze from spreading to a nearby structure.

No injuries were reported.
