A “vigorous” incoming storm is expected to bring strong winds and rain to Western Washington through Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

The special weather statement warns of southerly winds 15 to 30 miles per hour with gusts up to 45 mph.

Forecasters said the storm should hit Tuesday evening and continue through Thursday morning, bringing up to two inches of rain.

Tuesday’s high is supposed to be 50 degrees.
