Widespread below-freezing temperatures in Western Washington could make for slippery roads tonight and Monday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

Commuters should prepare for frost and some black ice, meteorologists said, including in the Tacoma area.

Monday morning will be the coldest since the middle of January, according to the Weather Service.

Temperatures will be above freezing by 10 a.m.
