UPDATED: Wreck on Interstate 5 blocks exit to Port of Tacoma Road

UPDATE: This from the DOT: “Ramp from NB I-5 to Port of Tacoma Road is now back open for business. Earlier the ramp was closed due to a crash involving a semi.”

UPDATE: Trooper Guy Gill tweets: “The crash on the ramp from NB I-5 to Port Of Tacoma involving the semis is non-injury. A BIG tow truck is en route to the scene now.”

PREVIOUS POST: The state Department of Transportation is reporting that a collision on northbound Interstate 5 is blocking the exit to the Port of Tacoma Road this morning.

No other information is immediately available, but drivers should expect delays in that area.
