A 17-year-old boy accused of lewd acts against female employees of downtown Tacoma businesses was charged today with two counts of fourth-degree assault with sexual motivation.

He also faces one count of obstructing a law enforcement officer because he ran from two police officers while being questioned Friday.

As the officers gave chase downtown, a passerby tripped the teen. Police then tased him and took the boy into custody.

The teen, who The News Tribune is not naming because he is underage, remains in custody at Remann Hall Juvenile Detention Center. He is scheduled to be arraigned this afternoon.

Both incidents took place at stores on Antique Row at the end of January.

The teen allegedly distracted the employees and ejaculated on their back before fleeing the store. The victims did not know what had happened until someone else pointed it out.

The teen admitted to the lewd acts after being arrested, according to charging papers.
