Several suspects, one armed with a handgun, demanded the wallet of a pedestrian overnight in the 3500 block of South Thompson Avenue, according to police.

Officers said the group of six suspects fled on foot. Five people were arrested nearby. Officers used a K9 team to search for another, but were unsuccessful.

Four juveniles were booked into Remann Hall and one adult was booked into Pierce County Jail for investigation of first-degree robbery.

The wallet and all its contents were returned to the pedestrian, officers said.
