Two suspected burglars were arrested today after a woman came home and found them inside her house in the 1300 block of Taylor Street.

Police were called to the house about 11:15 a.m. after the woman called 911 and told dispatchers she and her granddaughter spotted a man running out of their house.

Edgewood police officers were called in to help search for the suspects and a Pierce County sheriff’s dog was used to track the alleged burglars.

Both men were found in the area and quickly taken into custody.

Milton police said they are trying to determine whether the men are responsible for other burglaries in the city.
