A federal complaint filed in U.S. District Court Thursday accuses 12 people, including at least one Tacoma man, of conspiring to distribute controlled substances.
The Drug Enforcement Agency executed 16 search warrants Wednesday in Western Washington from Tacoma to Stanwood, spokeswoman Jodie Underwood said.
Officials seized 10 kilograms of cocaine, more than four pounds of heroin, more than a pound of meth, about 3.5 ounces of crack cocaine, 10 guns, and more than $400,000, she said.
The complaint is based partly on intercepted calls conducted in Spanish and the Mixteco Bajo language, according to the court document.
