Tacoma woman arrested for prostituting teen runaway on

A 21-year-old woman accused of forcing a teenage girl into prostitution was arrested Thursday night on suspicion of promoting commercial sexual abuse of a minor.

Tacoma police found the teen at a motel in the 8700 block of S. Hosmer Street and returned her home. The girl was reported as a runaway.

Officers got involved when a woman called them to say a friend claimed she and another girl were being held against their will and forced into prostitution. Police said the woman advertised the girls on
