One child was taken to the hospital this morning after a crash involving a school bus and another vehicle in Tacoma, police said.

The accident occurred about 8:25 a.m. at North Sixth Street and North Grant Avenue.

Several children bumped their heads but one was taken to Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital with unknown injuries. The bus is owned by Multicultural Child & Family Hope Center, a child care center on South 19th Street.

The bus driver was at fault because she did not yield to the other vehicle, police spokeswoman Loretta Cool said.
