Dense fog has reduced visibility to less than a half mile, according to the National Weather Service.

A dense fog advisory is in effect until noon.

“Low visibility will create difficult driving conditions and freezing temperatures will create locally icy roads,” the advisory states.

Today’s high is 39. Forecasters said freezing fog will dominate the morning and the afternoon will be cloudy.

The air stagnation advisory remains in effect until Tuesday.
