$15,000 in damages after Tacoma house fire

house fireA Tacoma house that caught fire Tuesday night suffered $15,000 in damages, according to the Fire Department.

The blaze was reported about 6:45 p.m. in the 900 block of Earnest S. Brazill Street.

Although firefighters initially believed somebody was trapped inside the one-story home, they did not find anybody inside.

The cause is under investigation.
