Woman found frozen in Tacoma alley identified

A woman found frozen in a Tacoma alley Sunday has been identified as 22-year-old Tyliah Young.

Her body was discovered in an alleyway in the 1200 block of South Ainsworth Avenue Sunday afternoon.

Police spokeswoman Loretta Cool said detectives are investigating the case as a suspicious death due to the location of the body and the presence of blood at the scene.

A cause of death has not yet been determined.

Young had two daughters and was taking classes at Tacoma Community College, according to her Facebook page.
