13000197-2-200x136 13000197-7-200x136Puyallup police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men who stole 14 bottles of liquor from a downtown store last week.

The theft occurred about 1:30 p.m. Jan. 7 at Bottle Beyond, a former state-owned liquor store in the 500 block on South Meridian.

Capt. Scott Engle said the men entered the store and loaded two shopping baskets with Crown Royal whiskey and other spirits before fleeing in a silver 2010 Dodge Charger.

“These two and the car are suspects in other almost identical shoplifts of liquor throughout the county,” Engle said.

Both suspects are black, in their mid-20s and 6-feet tall with slight builds. One had braided dreadlocks, the other had an afro.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Puyallup Police Department’s tipline at 253-770-3343.
