Update:
Kent Police called off the Amber Alert announced earlier tonight after finding Anh Nguyen-Duffy safe in the care of “a known person,” according to a police media release. She has been reunited with her mother.
Police are still searching for the girl’s father, Hung Bao Nguyen, who is wanted on suspicion of harassment, second-degree arson and assault. Police said Nguyen is likely still driving the Ford F-150 mentioned in the original alert, and they urge citizens not to approach the man directly. Instead, call 911.
