The state Department of Corrections office in Puyallup was evacuated this morning after a woman called in a bomb threat, police said.

Officers responded about 10:50 a.m. to the building, 405 W Stewart Ave. A bomb dog is searching the building but there does not appear to be any explosives inside, Capt. Scott Engle said.

Engle said no one has been arrested and the woman who called in the threat sounded intoxicated.

UPDATE: Employees were allowed back inside the building after police deemed it safe at 12:30 p.m., Deputy Chief Dave McDonald said.
