Eight people have been arrested for a drive-by shooting in Lakewood early Sunday, police said.

The incident occurred about 1:30 a.m. at a house in the 8400 block of 99th Street Court Southwest. Bullets struck the home and an unoccupied parked car.

No one was injured.

Lt. Chris Lawler said the investigation is ongoing but five weapons, some stolen, were recovered and eight people are in custody.

A witness to the shooting saw a Ford Taurus leave the home Sunday and an officer found the vehicle in the Tillicum area. The occupants, who were among those arrested, fled into a nearby apartment complex as officers arrived.
