An Issaquah house suffered $21,000 in damages Thursday night after a fire started in a bedroom, according to Eastside Fire & Rescue.
The blaze was reported about 8:15 p.m. in the 1600 block of Northeast 24th Street.
Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and flames. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and kept it from spreading to nearby structures, the department reported.
No one was home when the blaze started. The cause is being investigated.
