Suspect eludes police on Pacific Avenue in Tacoma

Several people acting suspiciously drew the attention of Tacoma police on Friday.

According to police, officers stopped them in the 7600 block of Pacific Avenue. They discovered that one of the individuals had a warrant for arrest on an assault charge. The suspect fled.

Police used a K-9 unit to try to track the suspect, but their efforts were unsuccessful. They say they know who the wanted person is and will continue their search.
