Deputies looking for suspect they say pawned stolen jewelry with stolen ID

Deputies are asking the public to help identify a suspect they say stole a woman’s identity and pawned stolen jewelry in her name.

The suspect used a stolen ID to pawn stolen rings on June 6 and Aug. 3 at the Pawn X-Change in the 12100 block of S. Meridian in Puyallup, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department.

The suspect is described as a woman in her 20s of medium build, with long brown hair.

A man carrying a baby was with her when she entered the shop, deputies said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers at 253-591-5959.

Tips are anonymous, and can earn callers up to a $1000 reward.
