A man fired several rounds into an unoccupied car late Wednesday, Tacoma police said.

No one was injured in the shooting, which took place about 11:25 p.m. in the 4300 block of South M Street. The shooter was not found.

Neighbors called 911 to report hearing gunshots. Several bullet holes were found in a car parked outside. The victims told police they have no idea who would have wanted to shoot their vehicle, police spokesman Mark Fulghum said.
