Six people were arrested in Fife Thursday during a prostitution sting police put together after noticing an increase in sex-related ads on Backpage.com.

Undercover detectives arranged to meet women in the 5200 block of 20th Street East Thursday. Police said five women and one man were arrested and booked into Pierce County Jail on suspicion of prostitution and felony drug crimes.
