A 40-year-old Lakewood man was arrested early this morning after allegedly stealing electronics from Mount Tahoma High School.

An alarm sounded about 1:45 a.m., drawing officers to the school’s stadium TV booth. Police found a broken window and a man sitting outside the booth.

Although the man initially told police he was trying to stay out of the rain and two juveniles had broken into the room, officers found tools and a backpack containing stolen items near the man.

Officers recovered speakers, a microphone and a headset.
