A car that crashed into a power poll caused an outage for about 850 residents in the Wauna area tonight, according to Peninsula Light Co.

The company estimates repairs will take five or six hours, but says the majority of those affected will have power restored within two hours.

WSDOT reports that state Route 302 is completely blocked at 94th Avenue Northwest until further notice, as of 10:30 p. m.
